President's Letter

Dear Fellow Alumnus:
I hope everyone had a relaxed holiday season and is having an enjoyable New Year. I would like to invite everyone to attend the 34th annual Pediatric Postgraduate Symposium being held April 26-28, 2012, at the Omni Riverway Hotel here in Houston. Our noon luncheon business meeting will be held Friday, April 27, at the Omni.
Your annual dues of $35 and any additional contributions now support the Feigin and Blattner lectureships during the Grand Rounds series, as well as the Reba Michels Hill Scholarship Fund for resident research. This is in addition to the Baylor Pediatric Medical Student Association's project to purchase infant car seats for indigent families at Ben Taub Hospital. Thank you, in advance, for your continued generosity and support. We are now over $260,000 in total contributions.
The identity of the Feigin Lectureship is still pending as of this printing. The Blattner Lectureship will be presented by Christy Turlinton, who founded Every Mother Counts, on Friday, March 2, 2012.
