Words to remember from parents: Find people who will love your child for her/his abilities and self, and latch on to that person! Use that person when things get bad. Find a place where your child can just be another kid, not a "special needs" child, for example your church, and share your child with those people. Let them communicate to your child that she/he is a normal, loveable person. MUSIC - Deaf children love music! They can feel it !!
