This service provides primary diagnosis as well as consultation service for biopsies and resected specimens from the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder and bile ducts. We provide the highest quality of case workup and diagnosis, and the fastest turn around time possible, using state-of- the-art methods and equipment.

Barrett’s Metaplasia (Barrett’s esophagus), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s Disease), dysplasia, and cancer.
Special Handling Instructions
Send all available slides, and a representative block just in case we need to do additional special stains, immunohistochemistry, or other studies. When sending paraffin blocks, please send by an overnight service and avoid exposure to heat during shipping. Please indicate fixative, special tissue processing, and other information that may affect interpretation or the performance and interpretation of special studies.
