Project Manager of Tissue Banking (June 2007 to present) , Department of Pathology, Baylor College of Medicine. Take charge of the Cancer Center Tissue Shared Resource as the chief technical administrator with responsibilities that include but not limited to the following: Responsible for organizing staff to constuct tissue microarrays from all of the common cancers at Ben Taub and VAMC for the past 10 years. Responsible for coordinating the archival and prospective tissue resource with the data management division of the DDCC to implement specimen annotation and a mechanism to tract disposition of these resources. Oversee and train individuals responsible for tissue consenting for all cancer cases as Ben Taub and VAMC. Develop an Organizational scheme that more fully integrates all of the sub-banks of the DDCC Tissue Shared Resource. Reports directly to Dr. Wheeler as director of the DDCC Tissue Shared Resource
