Summer Medical and Research Training (SMART) Program
Joined the lab: from April 2005 to August 2005

Natalie graduated in MIT on 2006. She spent two years as part of MIT's Chemical Engineering Department evaluating a novel chemotherapy treatment. The 2005's summer, she joined this laboratory as part of BCM's SMART program and contributed to the detection of Tie2 gene in bone marrow mononuclear cells using real-time PCR. Natalie is now a medical student in the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas.
