Adams Yerger
Summer Medical and Research Training (SMART) Program
Joined the lab: from May 29th to July 27th (2007).
Adams is in his last year at the University of Virginia, majoring in Biomedical Engineering (BME) with a minor in Engineering Business. As part of the SMART program, Adams studied the role of transcriptional repressors in the proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells. His work is a valuable contribution to a larger project in the laboratory.
