Department of Pathology
The Department of Pathology at Baylor College of Medicine enjoys a national reputation for setting the standards for clinical practice, education, and research. We offer a wide range of expertise in anatomic and clinical pathology, and a wide variety of laboratory tests.
Research interests of our faculty include cancer, development, RNA splicing, reproduction, and infectious diseases, among others. Most of our translational research activity has a disease or organ-specific focus, depending on the faculty clinical expertise.
