Welcome to the Greater Houston Area Chapter of SOHN

We are a nursing organization dedicated to the education of nurses and to the care of otolaryngology patients and their families. Nurses within the organization are involved in all aspects of patient care. We would like to welcome anyone interested in otolaryngology to attend our meetings, seminars and activities. The purpose of the national organization, current elected local officers, the yearly agenda of meetings and events, and information regarding the specialty will follow.

Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck Nurses, Inc.

The purposes of this Society shall be:

1. To encourage higher levels of education in Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck nursing through study, discussion, exchange of information, experiences and ideas.
2. To unite registered professional Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck Nurses for the purpose of maintaining a Society dedicated to the constant endeavor of promoting the highest professional standards of Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck nursing for the better and safer care of the patient.
3. To hold meetings at intervals for the purpose of the Society.
4. To cooperate lawfully with other professional associations, hospitals, universities, industries, technical societies, research organizations, and governmental agencies in matters affecting the foregoing purposes of the Society.
