Public Health Interest Group
Mission Statement
The Public Health Interest Group is composed of medical students and allied health professional students who are interested in promoting public health issues at Baylor College of Medicine.
PHIG Goals
- To increase awareness of the role of public health in the delivery of health care in the community
- To expose students to current public health issues and possible public health-oriented careers
- To offer opportunities to get involved with community projects through the city or county health departments
