How Can I Get Involved?
Coordinator
We are always looking for more coordinators. Being a coordinator involves taking primary responsibility for one activity, such as: spending a day at Planned Parenthood program, fundraising, or planning a pre-clinical elective. You are welcome to work on any area that interests you or start a new project.
Time commitment: Coordinators spend an average of two-three hours a week on MSFC activities; attend coordinator meetings twice a month and attend at least one annual conference during the year (we'll cover travel and hotel expenses).
E-mail any of the current officers to get more information on how to be involved
Member
Membership means that you get on our e-mail list, attend meetings, and that you are willing to be called upon when we need help with projects (such as recruiting new students in the fall).
Time commitment: Very low - we have approximately three annual meetings and will probably ask for two-three hours of help once a year.
Ally
As an ally you would sign up to receive regular emails from Baylor MSFC. You would receive information on happenings at the College as well as news on Texas and national public policy issues. Please e-mail Tara Banaszek banaszek@bcm.edu to be added to the listserv.
Time commitment: Only as long as it takes to read one e-mail!
