Medical Students for Choice is dedicated to ensuring that women receive comprehensive reproductive health care, including abortion services.
One of the greatest obstacles to safe, legal abortion is the absence of trained providers. Abortion and reproductive health care must be a part of standard medical training and practice. As medical students and residents, we are committed to ensuring that medical practitioners are prepared to provide their patients with the full range of reproductive health care choices.
Medical Students for Choice is a national organization dedicated to increasing education and awareness about reproductive health issues and abortion. The Baylor College of Medicine chapter has been organized and operating since March 1994. MSFC was recognized as a BCM organization in April 1995. The current officers were elected in November 2005, and new officers will be elected in February 2006.
