The Student Affairs Committee functions separately from and in parallel with the Office of Student Affairs. It stands as a forum for discussion about a wide range of issues touching a student's academic and institutional environments at Baylor College of Medicine. Elected students, appointed faculty, and administration representatives bring issues of concern to the Committee agenda. Results and recommendations stemming from the committee's activities are in turn brought to the attention of the Office of Student Affairs and are reported to the Academic Council on behalf of the student body.
