Biography
Jacob Weinberg, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. He specializes in orthopedic surgery of the spine for pediatric and adult patients with a focus on scoliosis.
After graduating summa cum laude from Columbia University in New York, Dr. Weinberg earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his internship in general surgery and a residency in orthopedic surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New Hyde Park, NY. He completed a fellowship in adult spine surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston and a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Harvard Medical School/Children's Hospital.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
