Biography

Douglas A. Barnes, M.D. is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with special interests in gait disorders of ambulatory children with cerebral palsy, amyoplasia, and congential anomalies of the lower extremities. He manages the care of children with clubfeet, developmental hip dysplasia, congenital deficiencies of the foot and lower limb, limb length discrepancies, Legg-Perthes, SCFE, as well as angular lower limb deformities, as seen in the skeletal dysplasias. Dr. Barnes has authored multiple book chapters on pediatric orthopedic topics as well as numerous scientific presentations at national orthopedic meetings.
