The Baylor Midwifery Section (BMS) provides
services in a complicated, multi-layered health care system, consisting of three
different main organizations that provide health care to Houston citizens:
Harris County Hospital District (District)
City of Houston Health Department (City)
Harris County Health Department (County)
Baylor CNM's have worked in all three of these organizations in the past, but now
work in the District as well as privately-sponsored non-profit clinics such as Good
Neighbor, Austin High School and George I. Sanchez Clinic.
