The Division of Generalist Obstetrics/Gynecology and Medical Education oversees the academic endeavors of the department. We currently train 48 residents, 12 per year for a four-year program, leading to board certification.

In addition, the department has fellowship programs in the following areas: Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Breast and Pelvic Oncology, Pelvic Floor and Reconstructive Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Surgery. An additional program in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology is planned to begin July 1, 2003.

Medical students are another vital aspect of our educational mission. While the core clerkship in OB/GYN is reserved for Baylor students, we welcome visiting students to apply for one of our elective offerings. Medical Students
