The Division of Generalist Obstetrics/Gynecology
and Medical Education oversees the academic endeavors of the
department. We currently train 48 residents,
12 per year for a four-year program, leading to board certification.
In addition, the department has fellowship
programs in the following areas: Reproductive Endocrinology
and Infertility, Breast and Pelvic Oncology, Pelvic Floor
and Reconstructive Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Surgery.
An additional program in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology
is planned to begin July 1, 2003.
