BCM Obstetrics and Gynecology
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine endeavors to provide the highest quality patient-centered care, excellence in education, and innovation through research to promote the health and well-being of all women.
We achieve our mission through patient services that address the needs of women of all ages, including routine obstetrics and gynecologic care, education of medical students and residents, and clinical and laboratory research conducted by our outstanding faculty. The department conducts research in both the clinical, translational, and basic science realms.
The department currently has over 40 faculty members and more than 75 volunteer faculty members assisting with clinical care, residency training and research. These faculty members cover clinical responsibilities at various locations such as Baylor Clinic and affiliates including the St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, the Methodist Hospital, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Hospital, and the Harris County Hospital District including its outlying clinics.
