Pediatric HIV/AIDS outpatient clinic opens in Mbeya, Tanzania
On March 7, 2011, the doors opened for the specialized pediatric HIV/AIDS outpatient clinic operated in Mbeya, Tanzania. The Mbeya pediatric center was established through a public-private partnership between the Baylor College of Medicine International Pediatric AIDS Initiative, Texas Children's Hospital, the Abbott Fund, the United States Agency for International Development and the Government of Tanzania.
