Diversity Fair 2009
Desserts from around the world were a hit at the BCM Diversity Fair held June 17. The event, sponsored by BCM Institutional Diversity Council, featured information from different student groups, including the Chinese Student and Scholar Association and the Latino Medical Student Association. Information on programs that promote diversity at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and the Office of Diversity and Community Outreach was also available. The goal of the fair was to highlight and celebrate the range of backgrounds and interests of the people who make BCM a leader in academic medicine.
