HOUSTON -- (Oct. 6, 2009) -- Should pregnant women get the H1N1 vaccine? Can you get the flu from the vaccine? Who is at high risk of catching the H1N1 flu?
To answer questions and debunk many of the rumors, Dr. Flor Munoz, a researcher in the Vaccine Research Unit at Baylor College of Medicine and an assistant professor of pediatrics – infectious diseases and molecular virology and microbiology, addresses frequently asked questions about the H1N1 vaccine.

BCM has one of the eight federally funded Vaccine Treatment and Evaluation Units, which have conducted tests on the H1N1 vaccine to determine appropriate dosage in various groups. BCM conducted clinical trials of adults, children and pregnant women.
