DeBakey awarded Congressional Gold Medal
HOUSTON -- (October 16, 2007) --
President George W. Bush has signed legislation authorizing a Congressional Gold Medal for Dr. Michael E. DeBakey, chancellor emeritus of Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. DeBakey will receive the medal in a special ceremony to be held in Washington D.C. within the next few months.
