Plays focus on cancer risks in Hispanic, African American communities
HOUSTON -- (March 3, 2010) --
Two plays written to inform the African American and Hispanic communities about their elevated risk for colorectal cancer and the importance of routine screening will take place this spring.
"The Marriage Test" and "Educando a Papá" are sponsored by the Office of Outreach and Health Disparities in the Dan L. Duncan Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine.

All performances but one are free and open to the public. The Friday, May 21 performance is a community luncheon and requires reservations. For more information and reservations, please call 713-798-2338.
The Office of Outreach was established to ensure that the large, diverse, and underserved population of Houston/Harris County receives the latest information about cancer, its prevention and treatment. The group has been sponsoring these plays for the past two years.
