Pediatric Neurosurgical Fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital
A one year clinical fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery beginning July 1st of each year is available to qualified applicants. This fellowship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pediatric Neurosurgical Fellowships and by the Committee on Subspecialty Training of the Society of Neurological Surgeons. Fellows are selected through the regular process managed by the Fellowship Match for Neurological Surgery (San Francisco Matching Programs).
Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in neurological surgery and be eligible for examination and certification by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
The Pediatric Neurosurgery Service at Texas Children’s Hospital is an entirely hospital based academic pediatric neurosurgical practice. The curriculum for the fellowship was designed to meet all of the requirements for successfully undergoing examination and achieving certification by the American Board of Pediatric Neurosurgery and to prepare the fellow for entrance into academic medicine.
