Neuropsychology Section
Neuropsychology is a specialty discipline that studies brain-behavior relationships to understand how the brain functions. Clinical neuropsychologists objectively test thinking, learning and remembering, problem solving, and emotions. Through detailed assessments, a pattern of strengths and weaknesses can be used to aid diagnosis and treatment planning.
Mission
The mission of the Neuropsychology Service in the Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine is to provide comprehensive neuropsychological clinical and research services to support the BCM faculty and outside referral sources and to provide training opportunities for interns, fellows, and residents.
