Neuromuscular disorders: Peripheral neuropathies (acquired and inherited), Myopathies (acquired and inherited) and Disorders of Neuromuscular Junction. Special interest in autoimmune neuromuscular disorders: inflammatory neuropathies (such as Guillain-Barré Syndrome, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathies) and idiopathic inflammatory myopathies; Neuromuscular pathology; Electrodiagnostic Medicine (routine nerve conduction and needle electromyographic studies, repetitive nerve stimulation, single fiber electromyographic studies and other special techniques)

Neuromuscular Inflammation: Mechanisms of leukocyte entry into peripheral nerve and muscle in autoimmune disease and during immune surveillance using human in vitro transmigration and in vivo animal models.
