Epileptogenesis in developing neural networks. Electrophysiological studies and microanatomical investigations of focal seizures in developing hippocampus. Long term alterations in neural physiology and connectivity produced by early life seizures. Molecular mechanisms underlying the development ofchronic epilepsy.
