Research Interests
Functions of proteins crucial to prevent epilepsy, molecular morphogenesis of striated muscle, molecular biology of sarcomeric proteins and myosin chaperones. Current research concerns several candidate proteins which cause elipesy when absent or mutated. Elucidating additional roles of these proteins in brain development and physiology will provide insight into neuorological diseases.
