Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship
This is one year ACGME approved training program for adult or child neurologists. The goals of the program are to master the skills necessary to successfully perform and analyze various clinical neurophysiologic tests as well as prepare the trainee for certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, special qualification in Clinical Neurophysiology, and the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology.
The program includes didactic lectures in basic and clinical neurophysiology; the conduct of a mentored research project; training in electroencephalography, EEG/video monitoring, electromyography, nerve conduction studies, evoked potentials, intraoperative monitoring, electrocorticography, autonomic testing and polysomnography; and experience in the treatment of epilepsy and/or neuromuscular patients in outpatient and inpatient settings. Training is provided in both adult and pediatric settings for all fellows and designated adult and pediatric training tracks are available.
