Message from the Director
of the Neurology Residency Program

Dear Applicant,

Thank you very much for your interest in our Baylor College of Medicine Department of Neurology Residency Program. We believe that we have one of the finest programs in the country and can provide an outstanding neurologic education.

We have switched from a printed Program Brochure to the online version that you are presently viewing, which we can continuously update. Please feel free to visit the rest of our web site for up-to-date information regarding our Program and our Faculty, some of our Departmental Clinics and Centers, some areas of research in the Department, and our Case of the Month, which is an actual patient seen by our residents. They present all laboratory findings, imaging data, and then a synopsis of the disorder.

We are now considering applications for a start date of July 1, 2010. All appointments are made through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS®) and the NRMP's Main Residency Match. For information about the Main Residency Match, go to http://www.nrmp.org/res_match/index.html. For information about ERAS, call 202-828-0413 or see the ERAS Web site (http://www.aamc.org/audienceeras.htm).

We are now a four year program with ten residency positions per year. Thus, there is no need for a separate application for the intern year.
