Neurobehavior of Dementia Fellowship
Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders Center offer a 1 or 2-year fellowship in neurobehavior with studies of dementia. The fellowship includes some inpatient but mostly outpatient experience and exposure to national and multicenter cooperative projects. Please send CV and two letter of recommendation to:

Clinical Postdoctoral Training
Clinical Postdoctoral Training: In 1998, the Alzheimer's disease and Memory disorders Center established a Clinical Postdoctoral Training position for physicians who have completed their neurology training. This fellowship is funded by a grant from Garden Terrace Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence. This position provides the physician closely mentored, extended, in-depth training in the clinical diagnosis, treatment, and multidisciplinary management of Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. In addition to patient care, the postdoctoral candidate will attend a weekly consensus conference, monthly ADMDC research conference comprised of representatives from multiple medical institutions, local and national CME programs, seminars, symposia, and lectures on Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. As a component of their specialty training, participating physicians will learn how clinical care informs and is translated to research, while learning to apply research within a clinical care setting. Collaborations with students and faculty in the Translational Biology and Molecular Medicine program are also available. The position is one to two years (two years for those interested in research).
Requirements: United States or Canadian residency completed in Neurology or Psychiatry, or USMLE parts I, II, and III and completion of a residency in Neurology or Psychiatry.
Research Postdoctoral Training
Established in 1996, this training program provides concentrated mentorship in the field of Alzheimer’s disease research and related memory disorders. The postdoctoral candidate gains experience with ongoing clinical research and through participation in the ADMDC research team, the candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with accomplished researchers from surrounding medical departments, schools, and educational institutes, including The Baylor College of Medicine Departments of Family and Community Medicine, Pathology, and Geriatrics, as well as The University of Texas Health Sciences Center and The University of Houston. The position is one to two years (subject to renewal).
Requirements: M.D. and/or Ph.D., or equivalent training.
