Literature Reports
Literature Reports is a presentation of current literature in a “Journal Club” format. Each week two students work with a faculty mentor to select interesting papers from the current literature for presentation by the students. In addition to helping select the papers for presentation, the mentor helps the students prepare their presentation as needed. The topics covered vary from week-to-week, but center on bacteriology and virology. Occasionally, other topics of “hot” current interest are presented. (Friday, Noon, Terms 1-4, Every Year)
Literature reports is required of all students in terms 1-4.
Although first year students are required to attend, they
are not required to present until late in their first year.
