Results for the 170 4th-year medical students participating in Match Day at Baylor College of Medicine are:
- 86 will be entering primary care residency programs in the fields of family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, medicine/pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology or emergency medicine
- 48 students matched with residency programs at Baylor College of Medicine
- 85 matched with residency programs in Texas
Match Day is a national program that pairs 4th-year medical students with residency programs throughout the nation. After receiving a medical degree, physicians enter a residency program for another three-seven years of training. Read the news release.
