It's a Match: At 11 a.m. March 19, 151 fourth-year medical students at Baylor College of Medicine participated in Match Day, an event during which they learned where they would begin their residency training program as a result of the National Resident Matching Program.
Results for BCM's Match Day 2009 were:
- 67 of the students in today's match are entering primary care residency programs in the fields of family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, medicine/pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology or emergency medicine.
- 47 students matched with residency programs at Baylor College of Medicine.
- 69 matched with residency programs in Texas.
