Weiming was born in Hong Kong. During her elementary school years, she was raised in Toronto, Minnesota and
Beijing. She attended high school in Hong Kong and Taipei. Weiming returned to the States for college and attended UC Berkeley, majoring
in Molecular Cell Biology. Her extracurricular activities included volunteering at the Oakland Asian Health Clinic as a "labor coach" for expectant moms. She
moved to Houston for medical school and attended Baylor. After finishing medical school she married a fellow anatomy tank partner, Scott. In her free
time she enjoys going to movies, cooking and pastel drawings. She's also learning to become a Houstonian, because after residency Houston will be the longest city that she's lived in so far!
