Sharvari grew up in St. Louis and attended the University of Missouri where she received a degree in Biochemistry and Psychology. She received her MD degree from University of Missouri at Columbia. While at Columbia, she was actively involved in international advocacy. She has continued her passion for international health at Baylor having done electives in India and Guatemala. She has upcoming plans to participate in the pediatric elective in Botswana. Despite three bouts of malaria, she remains excited about her future in International Medicine. Her hobbies include Indian dance and culture, yoga and working out. She is happily married to her husband, Tarak Patel, who is currently a pediatric pulmonary attending.
