rc126592@bcm.tmc.edu Rick was born and raised in rural upstate New York. He prides himself for his lifeguarding duties on Finger Lakes while growing up. He went to college at Boston University where he majored in philosophy. After college, he finished seminary school in New York, completed a psychotherapy degree concurrently and used his skills as a minister and social justice advocate in inner city Brooklyn for 6 years. Always devoted to service, Rick channeled his passion into medicine where he later started medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. He spends most of his time now with family including wife Marj, and two daughters Clare and Ruth Anne. His future plans involve primary care Med/Peds.
