This pub in Rice Village is always crowded with folks from the Texas Medical Center. Darts inside and outdoors seating available. A popular hangout for residents to go directly from work (you can even wear scrubs). Griff's Shenanigan's Cafe and Bar:
Around St. Patrick's Day this is the place to be, Irish or not. Irish folk dancers, music, green beer, contests and singing. 3416 Roseland in the Montrose area, (713-528-9912).
