Dr. Suzawa was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island. She went to college at Harvard University and majored in the Biochemical sciences. After being sick of the snow and freezing winters, Hilary was excited to come to Houston and to Baylor for medical school. She liked the warmth so much that she stayed on for residency. Currently, Dr. Suzawa precepts in the Medpeds Continuity Clinic and Adolescent Medicine Clinic. She also serves as staff for the Long Term Survivors Clinic at Texas Children's Cancer Center and the Baylor Transitional Clinic. She is happily married to Dan Lemke who is presently a pediatric emergency room fellow at Texas Children's Hospital. When she is not staffing the numerous clinics, she enjoys feeding the squirrels at Herman Park and playing basketball because of her overpowering height.
