The Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is based at the four primary teaching hospitals:

• Ben Taub General Hospital (Harris County Hospital District)
• The Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center
• St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital (private)
• The Methodist Hospital (private)

The faculty also attend at Kindred Hospital-Houston which is a long-term acute-care facility.
