May 9, 2009 - Donna White, Ph.D. was approved for membership in the Texas Medical Center Digestive Diseases Center.

Some of the goals and objectives of DDC are to:

Provide scientific leadership dedicated to GI research
Facilitate GI-related research in Southeast Texas
Develop important GI research programs by supporting new investigators and pilot projects
Sponsor training and education
Develop young investigators and support their careers.
