Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology
The Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of digestive tract and liver diseases, and provides consultations upon referral. Our screening and diagnostic services use the most advanced equipment for indicated procedures.

Our section faculty attend to patients at the Baylor Clinic and at BCM's affiliated institutions. The gastroenterology training program is accredited by the American Board of Internal Medicine Subspecialties.
