Microarray Core Facility
Welcome to the Baylor College of Medicine Microarray Core Facility. The MCF provides researchers access to state-of-the-art molecular profiling technology and services, including:
- Microarray technology platforms (Affymetrix® and spotted glass arrays-Agilent and NimbleGen)
- Comprehensive Data Analysis
- Mouse and Human cDNA Clone Respository
- Sample Quality Control
- Sample Labeling
- Array Hybridization/Scanning
This facility serves as the source for experimental design consultation, probe preparation protocols, and image scanning for spotted glass arrays (Agilent and NimbleGen) as well as Affymetrix GeneChips®. We provide a secure web-based online environment for service requests, sample tracking, data management and billing in the form of Micro Array Information Database, or MAID, our award-winning microarray information database.
We serve as the Core Resource for:
The Dan L. Duncan Cancer Center
The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center
The Diabetes and Endocrinology Research Center
The Digestive Disease Center
