The source for the following list of Statewide Independent Living Councils in the U.S. (including territories) is the ILRU Directory of Independent Living Centers and Related Organizations (copyright 1978, ILRU Program, Houston). Beginning with the 1995 volume the ILRU Directory provides a listing of SILCs in each state. The listing includes the name of the SILC chair, the mailing address, and telephone and TTY numbers. As SILCs hire executive directors, their names will be added to the listing.

Information about the SILC Congress and other general SILC information is also available.

This list is updated on a regular basis--with help from YOU! Two contacts for each SILC is preferred. Please use the form on the left if your SILC is not listed correctly.
