Baylor Stem Cell Core cell lines
(Currently the cells and services are only for Collaborators or Baylor investigators)
The Baylor stem cell core offers two embryonic stem cell lines (WA01 and WA09) originally from WiCell and one hiPS cell line generated at Baylor by Dr. Thomas Zwaka (hiPS TZ16). The Core also offers Quality control services for investigator generated cell lines: Tumor formation assays, Karyotype, FACS analysis, Immunoflourescence and Alkaline Phosphatase.
The cells received were expanded and frozen as banks. A variety of tests were then performed on the banked cells to confirm the quality.
