Graduate Program in Nurse Anesthesia
Requirements for the Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia Degree
- Successful completion of all courses.
- Satisfactory clinical performance.
- Satisfactory completion of the Capstone Project in Anesthesia.
- Satisfactory completion of the Comprehensive Examination in Anesthesia.
- Special requirements:
- Administration of a minimum of 550 anesthetics as the primary anesthetist.
- Completion of a minimum of 800 hours of clinical anesthesia as the primary anesthetist.
- Meet requirements for application to take the National Certification Examination administered by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
