Training Verifications

Effective immediately, the GME office will no longer be handling training verifications. If you need a verification completed, please contact the program in which the doctor in question graduated from.

Note: We will only complete training verifications for those who graduated from the BCM Transitional Year Program.

Good News on FICA Recovery!!

Were you a Resident or Clinical Post-Doc between January 1995 and March 2005? For those who have completed consent forms, Baylor has filed for the refund of your FICA and Medicare taxes paid during this time. Please be sure your contact information is current. We plan to issue the refunds as soon as possible once we receive the refund from the IRS. If your consent form was not received by 02/04/2011 you are not a part of our claim. We will update this site when we are processing the payments.

The Office of Graduate Medical Education is the central administrative office for the Affiliated Hospitals Residency Program. It coordinates and implements policies and procedures defined by the Graduate Medical Education Committee. Dr. Linda B. Andrews, associate dean for GME, oversees all activities related to graduate medical education as mandated by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education.

All Baylor program appointments are administered through the GME office, which also serves as a source of information on a wide range of topics related to training and life in Houston.
