The Baylor Clinic Video

Baylor Clinic at 6620 Main St. opened in June 2005 and offers state-of-the-art medical technology, convenience and expanded treatment areas. The Baylor Clinic is a symbol of BCM's primary private adult affiliation with St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital and offers BCM a chance to have many of its clinical departments under one roof.

Housed in the new Clinic are the departments of dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, as well as diagnostic services, cardiology testing and an infusion suite.

Baylor Clinic is implementing a system of managing patient information called electronic medical records. EMR allows doctors and their staff to access health and medication histories almost instantly. The system conducts automatic checks for drug interactions, identifies patients who need up-to-date information on their health problems and medications and creates a "disease registry" that helps physicians ensure proper treatment and follow-up among patients with chronic disease.

The new clinic offers one-stop-shopping patient services. Additionally, space is designated for teaching among physicians, residents and medical students.

Plans for Phase two of the Baylor Clinic are underway which will all provide additional space for patient care and diagnostic services. We invite you to take a video tour of the Baylor Clinic at the following link:
