In Memoriam: Marlene Laviage Tanner
Mrs. Marlene Laviage Tanner will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, service to all, and loving devotion to family and community. She is a cherished daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, coworker, and neighbor. She founded Unique Arts of Houston and made it the success it is today. Her caring spirit was seen in her many hours of service to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Houston Rodeo, and countless other charities. She enjoyed traveling and cruised throughout the world with her husband and family.
She will be remembered for her lifelong energy and zest for life, even as she fought her terrible disease. She often said, “I want to try new treatments, even if it doesn’t help me, so that it might help save others.”
Your contribution in memory of Marlene will honor her legacy and support Dr. Benjamin Musher’s pancreatic cancer research work at Baylor College of Medicine through the Marlene Laviage Tanner Memorial Fund. Donations will be allocated directly towards projects with the underlying goal to improve outcomes in pancreatic cancer.
Thank you for your generosity and loving support.
