Classes and Conferences
Weekly Conferences:
During the entire period of training, the trainee attends the weekly clinical genetics conference, departmental research seminar, post-clinic conference (during which patients seen in the Genetics clinic are discussed), and medical genetics ward rounds. Other conferences for cancer genetics, cytogenetics, biochemical genetics, molecular diagnostics, prenatal genetics and diagnosis and management of inborn errors of metabolism are held regularly and are to be attended when on specific rotations.
Graduate Coursework:
American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG) trainees are required to take the graduate level course "Human Genetics" and obtain a grade of B or better.

Optional Courses: Genetics A, Genetics B, Molecular Methods, Gene Regulation, Organization of the Cell, Gene and Cell Therapy, Cell Division, Development
