Four-Year Residency Program:

Applicants who are seniors at allopathic medical schools in the United States must use the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) for entry. Medical Genetics does not currently use the AAMC Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications are accepted in August and interviews are conducted November – January. We generally do not accept international medical graduates.

Two-year Medical Genetics Residency:

Currently, Medical Genetics does not use the NRMP for those applying for the two-year program. Most individuals apply to the two-year program 18-24 months before the anticipated start date. Interviews are granted based upon review of the application package and there is no set time frame for interviews.

Five-year Combined Pediatrics/Medical Genetics Residency:

Applicants who are seniors at allopathic medical schools in the United States must use the NRMP for entry. Medical Genetics does not currently use ERAS.
